General Manager’s Message

Bill Barnard

As Thanksgiving has just passed, it’s the time of year here in PebbleCreek where we are experiencing some great weather, welcoming back our winter residents, and the activity levels are on the rise. As we are now in the season of gratitude with Thanksgiving, and other upcoming holidays, it’s a wonderful time to pause and reflect on the many things that we have to be grateful for. In my message this month, I would like to take a moment to express heartfelt thanks to everyone who helps make our community such a special place.

I would like to acknowledge our many volunteers who serve in so many areas throughout PebbleCreek. The men and women who serve on our committeesRules, Golf, ALC, and Electionsall work to enhance our operations and ensure that our homeowner needs are being taken care of. There are so many volunteers in groups such as Kare Bears, LifeLong Learning, Transition Advisory Group, Creative Arts Council, Performing Arts Council, libraries, the sports associations consisting of golf, pickleball, tennis, bocce, and softball, as well as the numerous other clubs and associations that are just too many to mention. Their willingness to share their time, give their talents, and lend a helping hand makes such a difference. Their efforts create the connection and spirit that truly defines PebbleCreek.

I would like to thank our resident board members, Jack Gregory and John Cohn, for their leadership, vision, and countless hours of service. Their guidance and thoughtful decision-making ensure that we continue to grow responsibly and remain strong in the years ahead.

I want to express my deepest appreciation to our dedicated staff. Every day, they bring professionalism, care, and commitment to their work, helping keep our community running smoothly and beautifully. Staff in Golf, Food and Beverage, Facilities, Patrol, Front Gates, Front Desks, Housekeeping, Fitness, Activities, ALC, Creative Arts, Finance, Administration, and Communications play a vital role in making this a place that we are proud to call home. Their perseverance, enthusiasm, and devotion often go unseen but never go unappreciated.

I also want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our veterans who have served, or are serving, as well as their families. Your service and sacrifice have given us the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy today. Your courage and dedication remind us all of what it means to serve something greater than ourselves.

As we gather with family and friends during Thanksgiving and other holidays, I hope we all take a moment to appreciate not only what we have, but the people who make it possiblethose who work, serve, and volunteer to make our community better every single day. On behalf of all of us, I wish you and your loved ones a warm, safe, and joyful holiday season. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful community and for everything you do to make it special.
