The most wonderful time of the year … for those of us who live in Phoenix, this has dual meaning. Of course, the holiday season, but also, when our weather is just so beautiful! It’s also the time of year when our winter residents return, and we begin to feel the anticipation of the holiday season fast approaching. We are already seeing an increase in activity at all of our facilities. With Thanksgiving recently, my message this month is one of Thanks to all of the people in the community who give.
I would like to acknowledge the many volunteers who give their time and knowledge to help make PebbleCreek the great community that it is. Thanks to the men and women who serve on the ALC, Golf, Rules, and Election Committees. These four HOA Committees work to ensure that our homeowners’ needs are being addressed. There are also so many other volunteers throughout PebbleCreek in groups such as LifeLong Learning, KareBears, Transition Advisory Group, the Libraries, Creative Arts Council, Performing Arts Council, the sports associations consisting of golf, pickleball, tennis, bocce, and softball, as well as the many other associations and clubs in PebbleCreek that are too numerous to list. Also, a special thanks to our resident board members, Jack Gregory and Bob Paine, who serve tirelessly, as volunteers, to help PebbleCreek. The many hours of time and effort that all of these individuals dedicate each year is truly an act of giving back. Thank you.
I would also like to offer my thanks to all of our staff members who have gone through the past few years with COVID impacts, staff shortages, supply chain issues, rising costs, and other difficulties that continue to impact us on a daily basis. Staff in Food and Beverage, Golf, Facilities, Patrol, Resident & Guest Services, Front Gates, Housekeeping, Fitness, Activities, ALC, Creative Arts, Finance, Administration, and Communications have sustained HOA operations in an efficient and quality manner amongst ever-changing conditions. My sincere thanks go to each and every one of our staff members for their commitment, perseverance, and dedication to PebbleCreek.
I would like to personally add my thank you to all of the veterans who have served or are serving, who have given so much to protect all of us.
I have been part of PebbleCreek for more than 20 years, and I am always amazed and encouraged by the spirit of giving and the desire to help shown by so many in this community. I say thanks to all of you who help your community and neighbors—or whatever you do to make a difference. You all define the spirit of the holiday season. On behalf of my entire operations team, Cheers to you all and Happy Holidays!
