Learning how to find information and understanding whom to contact and how to get things done at PebbleCreek can be a daunting task for both new and longtime homeowners. The HOA website (www.pebblecreekhoa.org) is a great source for information and is the official source of information for the HOA. You can find just about everything that you are looking for with a bit of navigation. Things you will find include maps of the facilities, a comprehensive member directory, club listings, Board and other governing documents, restaurant menus, activity listings, announcements, and much more. You should be able to find anything you need on the website.
The PebbleCreek Source Book also has basic information, a directory for homeowners, and important phone numbers that you may be looking for. Our Resident & Guest Services (RGS) Desks are also a great resource for information, while they may not have all of the answers, they can direct you to someone who can help. The main RGS phone number is 623-935-6780. We also host a New Homeowner Orientation three times a year for new residents moving into the community to give them an overview of what PebbleCreek has to offer. New homeowners will receive an invitation to attend one of the sessions.
In my role as General Manager, I am responsible for the oversight of all operational aspects of PebbleCreek for the HOA Board of Directors. We are responsible for the buildings, roads, common areas, golf courses, restaurants, patrol, fitness facilities, pools, sports courts, theater, meeting rooms, ballrooms, housekeeping, and administrative functions. We get management help from Robson Communities, Inc. (RCI) on human resources, accounting, legal, and payroll. I have a great support team with over 325 staff members, which includes an Assistant General Manager, and a small team of Directors and Managers and their support staff who specifically focus on the operations listed above.
The General Manager can make changes necessary to operational issues, but not to HOA policy or rules that are governed by the HOA Board of Directors. We handle the day-to-day processes of PebbleCreek. If you have questions, or need further information, you can always visit PebbleHelp.org to send us a question, report an issue, or provide feedback. It will get passed on to the manager responsible for the area you are reporting for action or consideration.
The HOA Board of Directors is tasked with making sure the community is meeting its fiduciary obligations, following the requirements of the governing documents, and making sure the community is running well. The Board is responsible for setting policy, rules, and guidelines as well as developing the strategic vision for the community’s future needs.
There are four committees that support the Board: Architectural and Landscape Committee (ALC), Rules Compliance Committee, Golf Committee, and Election Committee. The Board may also assign focus groups to help in specialized situations. These groups are primarily made up of homeowner volunteers who donate their time to help our community, with our ALC Committee having a small staff of employees.
I’ve said it many times, PebbleCreek is much like a small city and needs to be operated as such. My role as the General Manager is similar to that of a City Manager, and the role of the Board of Directors is similar to that of a City Council. Our community is continuing to grow and we continue to face many challenges as we move into the future. We will continue to search for and find solutions for existing and new challenges. I thank you for the support of our entire team and as we move forward, let’s look to a bright future. As always, I hope you are living your best life here in PebbleCreek.
