As we begin a new year, I’d like to take a moment to reflect back on 2022 to share some of the accomplishments achieved by our operations team, and to share what we can look forward to and expect in 2023.
Reviewing the year, I am pleased to share that we were able to complete a large amount of necessary projects. Two major highlights: Golf, again, had a great year with just over 160,000 rounds of golf played. We set play amount records nearly every month in 2022. Besides our annual palm tree trimming, we were able to trim more than 1,000 big trees of different species within our common areas, a huge accomplishment.
Other project highlights include:
* Painting of interior common walls in Tuscany Falls
* Resurfaced and repaired cool deck at the Tuscany Falls and Eagle’s Nest pools
* Resurfacing of all pickleball courts to include adding stadium seating
* Replacement of artificial grass at all bocce courts as well as replacing the lights at the bocce courts located on the Eagle’s Nest side
* Regrassed and overseeded the dog park
* Resurfaced all of the flooring at the Tuscany Falls Fitness Studios
* Replacement of numerous air conditioning (A/C) units throughout the property
* Replaced the fire panels at the Creative Arts Center
* Replaced flooring, electrical, lighting, and painted the interior of the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse
* Replaced electrical and renovated counter and equipment at Toscana’s Restaurant
* Replaced refrigeration at Portofino
* Turf removal and replacement of artificial turf around the Tuscany Falls Golf Pro Shop, Creative Arts building, and pickleball courts
* Replaced felt and purchased new balls for the game tables in the Billiards Room
These are just some of the projects that were completed last year.
In 2023 we have several significant projects planned to include the painting of the exterior common walls in Eagle’s Nest. The replacement/upgrade of all cameras at our (6) auxiliary and (2) 24-hours-a-day manned main gates. We will begin a facility-wide street light retrofit project. The Tuscany Falls West golf course grass replacement project to include replacement of greens and fairways will take place this year, and 2023 will also include the much anticipated renovation of Toscana’s Restaurant.
We will keep you updated on all of these projects, and any others that may be needed, as we move through the year.
I am proud of the fact that PebbleCreek has maintained our high standards through numerous challenges over the past several years, and I am optimistic that positive things are on the horizon and that we can look forward to a positive and productive 2023.
