We are enjoying some cooler weather, and activity in the community has increased. Many are starting to feel the anticipation of the holiday season. As we move into December, I want to take a moment to think about the recent Thanksgiving holiday. The holiday season can be so hectic, taking a moment to remember all we are grateful for during this busy time is important.
I would like to recognize the many volunteers who help make PebbleCreek a better place to live. Thank you to the men and women who serve on the four HOA Board committees; Architectural and Landscape (ALC), Golf, Election, and Rules Compliance. There are also many other volunteers throughout PebbleCreek in groups such as LifeLong Learning, Kare Bears, Investment Advisory Group (IAG), Library, Transition Team, Creative Arts Council, Performing Arts Council, the Golf Associations, and the many other associations and clubs throughout PebbleCreek that are too many to list. The many hours all of these individuals dedicate each year is truly an act of giving. Thank you.
I would like to offer my thanks as well to all of our staff members who have made it through the past several years with staff shortages, rising costs, supply chain issues, and other problems that continue to impact us on a daily basis. Staff in Golf, Food and Beverage, Patrol, Facilities, Housekeeping, Resident & Guest Services, Activities, Fitness, ALC, Creative Arts, Communications, Finance, and Administration, have maintained our operations under trying and ever-changing conditions. I offer my genuine thanks to each and every one of these staff members for their determination, devotion, and commitment to PebbleCreek. Also, a special thanks to our resident Board Members, Bob Paine and Jack Gregory, who serve diligently, as volunteers, to help PebbleCreek. Thank you.
In my many years working here in PebbleCreek, the overriding theme has been one of giving back and helping others. I say thanks to all of you who help your neighbors and community—or whatever you do to make a difference. I extend my appreciation to all of you as you truly define the spirit of the holiday season. Thank you.
On behalf of the entire operations team … Happy Holidays!
