General Manager’s Message

Bill Barnard, General Manager

Summer is here, and many of us will try to get away for at least a short time during these hot months. For our Facilities team, this is a good time to do major renovation, maintenance, and repair projects, as we have the least amount of people using our facilities. This year, we have encountered rising costs, materials being in short supply, vendors not having enough workers, and unplanned failures of equipment. Despite these challenges, we have been able to accomplish many projects, and we have some more major work scheduled this summer.

Planned major renovation and projects include the replacement of all fences at the pickleball courts, constructing a new ball machine building on the north end of the Tuscany Falls driving range, renovation of the main entrance to the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse, installation of artificial turf at the Tuscany Falls golf circle, conversion of turf to granite on Robson Circle South, resurfacing of tennis courts seven through 11, outdoor lighting replacement at the Tuscany Falls and Eagle’s Nest clubhouses, asphalt resurfacing work on South Sarival Road, asphalt repair at the Creative Arts parking lot, polychip of Units 3 and 5, and our usual fall seal coating. Unplanned major projects include the re-grassing of the dog park and reconstruction of the steam rooms at the Tuscany Fitness Center. All of this is scheduled, along with the bunker renovation happening at Tuscany Falls East. Undoubtedly, more repairs and maintenance will pop up as the year goes on.

Keeping PebbleCreek well-maintained and beautiful is a daunting task that the facilities team and staff take very seriously. As you move around the community, take a moment to recognize just how beautiful our buildings, roads, and amenities truly are. We have a terrific staff that has eyes and ears around the property, but we can’t be everywhere. If you see something that needs attention, please let us know by using Pebblehelp.org.

Before we know it, fall will be upon us with cooler temperatures and, hopefully, the “normalcy” that we are all longing for, including football and the holiday season. For now, I hope you are enjoying all the sunshine and the many activities still offered over the summer months. Here’s to living your best life at PebbleCreek!
