General Manager’s Message

Bill Barnard, General Manager

With the increase in home sales and many people renting through the entire year, we have a lot of new community members. With this in mind, I wanted my message to focus on one of the significant benefits of living in PebbleCreek—our Community Services team. Many new residents may not realize what they have to offer.

John Singleton, a retired Goodyear Police lieutenant, is our director of Community Services. He has been here for over five years and oversees a department made up of approximately 35 men and women, most of whom are homeowners, who patrol and care for our community, property, and residents. They are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

PebbleCreek’s Community Services Patrol provides many homeowner services, such as vacation watch, jump-starting vehicles, putting air in tires, disabled golf cart towing, alerting homeowners and staff about water leaks, checking and securing buildings and pools after hours, and installing RFID tags, just to name a few. Perhaps their most important role is simply their presence all around the property, 24 hours a day. They are our eyes out in the community. The patrol team is constantly on the move in their well-marked, recognizable trucks, not only carrying out duties of the job but creating a presence that discourages and deters crime. Patrollers also act as agents of the HOA for the benefit of the residents. They have the authority to enforce PebbleCreek CC&Rs, bylaws, articles, and rules and will write violation notices to those not in compliance. Please be sure to note, however, they are not police officers. The Goodyear Police Department and other law enforcement agencies handle criminal law violations within PebbleCreek and should be called immediately if any need arises.

Another aspect of the 24-hour service provided by this department is the staff that mans the gates at our main entrances. Uniformed Guest Relations staff members greet guests, visitors, vendors, and homeowners coming into the community. You can call them anytime to notify them that you have a guest or vendor arriving. Visit the HOA website and look for Community Services Patrol on the PC Services home page drop-down menu to find out more information on the variety of services that our Community Service team provides.

I encourage all homeowners to keep Patrol’s 24-hour phone number handy at home and on your cell phones. The phone number is 623-935-0387. You never know when you might need assistance. The benefits of living in a gated community with 24-hour patrol and gate presence are many. Please take advantage of all the services that they provide. They are here to help all of our community members.

As we embark on another summer and begin the process of getting back to more regular activity, I hope you are enjoying all that PebbleCreek has to offer.
