The PebbleCreek Community Church Chaplains’ Ministry will be conducting a spring six-week session for individuals who have recently lost loved ones and are trying to adjust to their new lifestyle changes. These sessions are designed to help people with questions and concerns learn to handle difficult times and events. They provide an opportunity for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one to share their feelings with others, learn more about the grieving process and discuss how to help direct thoughts and actions during this difficult time.
The sessions will be held each Tuesday afternoon from 1:30–2:30 p.m. starting February 19 and running through March 26 in the Eagle’s Nest activities center Room 100. Subjects to be discussed are Understanding the Grief Experience, Handling the Difficult Emotions of Grief, Remembering the Person Who Died, Managing the Stress of Change, Preparing for Special Occasions and Finding Meaning After Loss.
We encourage anyone in our community who has suffered from a recent loss of a loved one to consider participating in this group. The sessions are open to all PebbleCreek residents and the group is limited to a maximum of eight individuals. People who have participated in our past sessions have expressed how much these sessions have helped them travel through the grief process and learn how to function more confidently in a new way. To obtain more information about these sessions, or to register, please call or write PebbleCreek residents Tom and Joan Clark at [email protected].
PebbleCreek Community Church is a non-denominational church that meets in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. We welcome all who would like to experience a friendly church for a scripture-based worship service followed by a time of fellowship.
