Yes, the full name of the Gallery includes the phrase, “Gift Shop”! I know it’s just November 1, but have you checked your calendar recently? Hanukkah begins on Christmas Eve and Kwanza begins the day after Christmas. It’s time to start planning for all your holiday gift needs and then shop right here in PebbleCreek. No need to wait for Black Friday, early bird specials, parking woes, a mall crush or criminals lurking about – just have a joyous shopping experience right here in the Creek.
Dahlings, you simply must come down to see the new collection of fabulous, Darling Dangles. These funky 12-inch long and thin fabric dolls in brilliant colors are truly the cutest items stocked in the Gallery; great for a real child or the child within you. The Darlings are crafted by an artisan both new to PebbleCreek and new to the Gallery. Last I checked one was sitting right up on the sales counter, her hand in the change jar. Take one home and you can place her up against the cookie jar. You’ve just gotta see this.
The Gallery, oops Gift Shop, has an intriguing array of highly-styled wooden boxes, some with spindle tops and hidden spaces carved from walnut, olive and even Osage-orange wood. These are perfect gifts for both men and women. While you certainly can place your jewelry and keepsakes within them, they are artistic enough to be shown in a prominent place in your home and enjoy the complements you’ll receive. Nothing beats showing off good taste!
Our resident glass artisans have created precious glass plant stakes. You can choose from a display including puppies, birds, bugs and cactus. These are the perfect backdrop for your plants, indoors or out.
Need to leave a note for someone in your household? Try out a small, beautifully decorated tile dry-erase message board. These can even be personalized for you. What a great gift to give someone and have them be reminded of your thoughtfulness with every note they write.
Never to be overlooked, and you really couldn’t, is the vast presentation of wall art hung on the Gallery walls. Media used include acrylic, oil, watercolor, color pencil, pastels and collage. Whether the display space available in your home is large or small, you can definitely find your style at the Gallery.
See you soon at Ye Olde Expressions Gallery and Gift Shoppe!
