The Thanksgiving holiday is upon us—Nov. 23. The Gallery will close at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 22 and remain closed on Thursday. When it reopens on the 24th, the usual winter hours will be in effect—9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Plan your shopping days now for the best selection of gifts and personal items. Your crafty neighbors keep an eye on the Gallery and replenish the inventory as needed to keep it fully stocked with unique one-of-a-kind gifts.
Artisans have crafted a fantastic array of paintings, glass, wood, ceramic, paper, fiber, and jewelry for you to choose from for holiday shopping right in your own ’hood.
Special items abound for the little ones, including clothing, doll clothes, stuffed animals, and teddy bear bookmarks. Some of the jewelry choices are perfect for teens, including chain necklaces with pendants, small chain ankle bracelets with charms, and lightweight earrings. Lots of housewarming gifts are available for your friends, including beautiful glass nightlights, colorful rings to identify wine glasses, and small serving dishes festive enough for any party.
As you roam the Creative Arts Center and Gallery this holiday season, consider joining the fun and learning a new craft by joining an art club. Consider this for a New Year’s resolution. It’s never too soon to get in on the fun!
