Welcome back, snowbirds! We have stocked the Expressions Gallery and gift shop with hundreds of new treasures for you to admire and hopefully purchase.
The Gallery presents artistic items for sale by members of the many clubs that meet in the center as well as individuals who live in the community. If you would like to sell your craft items in the Gallery, stop in and request a consignor’s packet during business hours.
Important dates:
* Oct. 9: Meet the Authors program
* Dec. 7: Winter festival
More information on these upcoming events will follow, but they’re mentioned here as a tease to highlight what’s coming ahead.
But, for the here and now, check out the “What’s New” corner in the Gallery. You’ll fall in love with the small soft animal puzzles. Each may be separated into three pieces and then reattached, ensuring hours of fun for the young ones. Also new are the drawstring travel jewelry bags, which are a perfect fit for either vacation or holiday stuffers for friends and family.
In the Gallery as well as in the front showcase window are glass plates in a woven pattern, which are absolutely stunning for home decoration.
For the very young, we now have baby teething rings, burp cloths, and bibs, along with adorable “onesies” with great slogans such as, “Let’s Taco ‘Bout It” and “Oh, spit!”
And, if you need a calm moment, select a small “Tea for Two” cloth pouch with tea bags included. And while sipping your tea, sit and admire a newly purchased acrylic painting. We are currently showcasing Palace of Fine Arts, Whale Fun, Whale Tail, and Creative Chaos.
As you enter the Gallery, you’ll find an array of small cloth item—and remember, sometimes the best things come in small packages! Beautiful fabric items include snap bags, cross body bags, silver savers, and totes. Wander the Gallery and you’ll spot doll blankets and pillows for 18” dolls.
The Gallery, located in the Creative Arts Center in Tuscany Falls, has expanded its winter open hours: Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (closed from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch). Closed on Sundays.
We’re right off clubhouse as you approach the model center. Walk, bike, or drive on down.
