Expressions Gallery and Gift Shop–MAYbe, MAYbe Not

A small confession, as I was unable to break into the gallery for a current photograph of the inventory: this photo is of my very own jewelry creations and all will be available for purchase in the upcoming months. The jewelry items (pictured left to right) are a bracelet and necklace of lavender serpentine, and necklaces of cherry jade and pearl, yellow jasper, two-strands of pearl and garnet with a magnetic clasp, Brazilian fire agate also with a magnetic clasp, Amazonite, and gray pearl with metal charms. Many thanks to my hubby for the photo, but the comforter and teddy are just props and not for sale! Also included in the photo are items made for Knimble Kneedles charitable distribution, including a lapghan and chemo hats for children and teens at Banner Thunderbird and baby caps for Banner Estrella. Similar items are always available in the gallery to raise money for the club’s charitable work.

I don’t know what to tell you about the Creative Arts Center and Expressions Gallery reopening, as I’m writing this article during the first week of April. I do know that, when reopened, the entire building will have been thoroughly cleaned, top to bottom for your safety, and filled with wonderful items.

The Gallery staff is eagerly waiting to open the doors and show you the newest crafts from your friends and neighbors. Remember, we carry lovely handmade scarves and shawls, baby items, woodcraft, pottery/ceramics, glass, fiber arts, books and bookmarks, wall art, and jewelry. The Gallery is truly a boutique shopping experience. There are finds for you, family, and friends of all ages.

One great aspect of being part of the PebbleCreek crafting community is that many of us have terrific hobbies to occupy us at this time and you will soon be able to view our work in the Expressions Gallery. If you are lonesome at this time, join an art club in the future and be surrounded with a talented and helpful crafting crew!

When the gallery reopens, please help us out by shopping very local. A part of the monies collected from sales is contributed to the Creative Arts Center to maintain and enhance the venue. Some of the consignors are happy hobbyists, but others count on their sales to enhance their retirement income. Your support is essential and very much appreciated.

Really looking forward to writing my next article for June; it will begin my fifth year of writing on behalf of the gallery and its consignors.

Stay well, everyone!
