Susan Knox Wilson, PebbleCreek Golf Resort Communications Team
As a PebbleCreek homeowner, you have a big stake in our neighborhood. The best way to ensure that our community is properly maintained and ready for the future is to volunteer with our homeowners association. Though board members are unpaid, there are many reasons to serve. Here are ten good reasons why you should consider running for the HOA Board:
Because you want to…
• Protect the value of your property
• Correct community problems
• Be on the front lines of planning for our future
• Hone your leadership skills
• Gain a better understanding of our HOA laws
• Achieve your expectations of a great community
• Put your learning to work
• Be creative and have some fun experiences
• Meet and get to know your neighbors
• Give back to the community
Qualified candidates must be homeowners in good standing, and be available to attend HOA board and committee meetings. For more information about the duties and responsibilities of being on the HOA Board, visit the PebbleCreek HOA website at www.pebblecreekhoa.org and look for the “HOA Board” tab. For questions, additional information, or if you are interested in running—contact election committee chairman, Gordon Seaman, at [email protected]. The last day to declare your candidacy for the HOA Board is Friday, Oct. 2.
