“At press time for this issue of the Post, we will still be receiving profiles from candidates interested in running in this year’s election,” noted Election Committee Chairman Cliff Crooks. “In addition to recruiting candidates, we are also busy prepping for the upcoming campaign and have set the date for our Meet-the-Candidates Forum.” The candidates will be vying for a two-year, resident-volunteer position on the PebbleCreek Homeowners’ Board of Directors, beginning Jan. 1, 2027. A director’s duties and responsibilities are described in Article V Section 2 of PebbleCreek’s CC&Rs, which are posted on the PCHOA website.
The Meet-the-Candidates Forum will be held live, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom.
Please plan to attend our Meet-the-Candidates Forum and look for the forum video on the HOA website. Stay informed after the forum by reading the special election insert in the October issue of the PebbleCreek Post.
The forum will include information about the voting process, opening remarks by each candidate, and a mix of Q&A from questions previously submitted by homeowners and, if time permits, questions directed to the candidates during an open mic session by forum attendees.
“The forum is organized by our Election Committee to provide homeowners with an opportunity for dialogue and respectful, bona fide inquiries to clarify candidates’ positions on issues that serve the greater good of the community,” said Cliff.
Once again, our HOA Board election will be managed by VoteHOANow.com, which has proven to be quick, easy to use, and yield an impressive turnout for PebbleCreek elections. On or about Oct. 1, registered homeowners will receive an email from the VoteHOANow voting site, asking them to vote online anytime during the fall PCHOA election period, which begins Thursday, Oct. 1, and ends at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13. (Please note that if you prefer using a paper ballot, you must request one, in person, from the Eagle’s Nest front desk during the active election period. No paper ballots will be mailed.) Watch for more details about the voting process as we near the election period.
