The PebbleCreek Ballroom Dance Club is proud to announce our annual Black & White dinner/dance scheduled for Feb. 29 in the TF Ballroom. It’s always a great night, and the creativity in putting together semi-formal black and white outfits is always great. Start your evening off at 5 p.m. with a no host cocktail hour. Plated dinner is served at 6 p.m. followed at 7 p.m. by the exceptional big band Encores. Quite the evening where you can socialize, dine, and then dance and listen to wonderful music by a band who plays true ballroom music which covers all the dance styles you enjoy. The menu selection will be chicken cordon blue, cranberry glazed salmon, and vegetable stuffed portobello mushroom.
The price for this evening is $37.50 for members and $47.50 for non-members, however we might remind you that a $15 membership drops your cost for this function plus $5 off on future dances and $10 off the other two dinner/dances we’ll host in 2020. Tickets will be sold at our first dance of the year on Jan. 29, and then at the EN kiosk on Tuesdays (Feb. 4, 11, and 18), and Thursdays, )Feb. 6, 13, and 20).
We’re most fortunate to have the 18-piece Encores Band playing for us. These talented musicians from throughout the valley are professionals, and feature many soloists within each section. In fact, PebbleCreek is well represented in the group by none other than Jeff Buda who is now the Director of the Musicians Big Band, who’ll be playing in our theater in the spring. Several other talented PCers are in this special band: Bill Throsell on trumpet, John Logan on drums, and John Withhart on alto sax (also director of the Encores).
What a night; a decorated ballroom, cocktails, and dinner, followed by the great sounds of the Encores Big Band. We look forward to seeing you at the kiosk. Don’t miss this special event, which has a maximum attendance of 200.
