PebbleCreek resident, Dick Hawkins, is a member of the West Verde Lane Golf Association who made a hole-in-one on the 3rd hole at Palm Valley’s West Course, on Monday, March 2. Dick used a 7-iron to hit about 140 yards, with the ball ending its journey by rolling into the cup for the ace. The score was witnessed by Bruce Dice, Charlie Craig, and Jerry McFarlane, who each signed the team’s score card, attesting to the fact that Dick, indeed, scored the ace.
