DesertFest event at PebbleCreek

Save the date! On Saturday, February 6, 2016 PebbleCreek will host the second annual DesertFest event from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. With a very exciting lineup of activities scheduled for this event you won’t want to miss a moment!

Enjoy live musical entertainment on the main stage in the Food and Wine Pavilion from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Enjoy the sights and sounds of “One of these Nights”, the ultimate tribute to America’s favorite band, The Eagles, plus, ’56: A Rock ‘n Roll Revue—put your glad-rags on and grab your best gal or guy, and get ready to rock!

One of these Nights is an amazing show that takes the audience on a journey through all the Eagles’ sounds, from tasteful country rock, complete with full harmonies, to hard rocking tunes that highlight the Eagles’ extraordinary catalogue. The show of course features the band’s greatest hits, including Hotel California, Desperado, Lyin’ Eyes, Life In The Fast Lane, Take It Easy, Already Gone, One Of These Nights and many others.

Then ’56 was a year that featured Coup de Villes and drive-in movies, Ed Sullivan and Milton Berle in your living room once a week, Mickey Mantle leading the Yankees to the pennant and Grace Kelly leaving Hollywood’s silver screen to become a princess. Elvis had four Top Ten hits that year, alongside Dean Martin and the Platters, and he became a movie star–all in 1956.

Now ’56 is four amazing musicians, individually accomplished in other genres, who came together to ask this question: What if all those legends from Sun Records and the Louisiana Hayride never went to Hollywood, never made TV shows and movies, but were still just playing today? ’56 is the answer!

Wine tasting will also be available within the Food and Wine Pavilion. With a $10 purchase (cash only) you’ll receive a commemorative DesertFest wine glass and three tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets are available for $2 each.

Enjoy great shopping, demonstrations and giveaways at the exhibitor fair and art show featuring Running Bear! Plus a selection of great food options, including Toscana’s and an assortment of food trucks, will be available throughout the event.

The featured charitable organization this year is the New Life Center. It’s an emergency domestic violence shelter for women and children in the West Valley. To show your support for this amazing facility, please bring pillows, blankets, sheet sets (twin and crib), alarm clocks and night lights to their DesertFest booth. Your donation is greatly appreciated!
