On March 5, PebbleCreek Democratic Club member Polly Wimberly donated a laboratory-quality microscope she owned to the Agua Fria High School Science Department. “I wanted this microscope to be put to a good use, and I wanted to support science education in Arizona’s public schools. I strongly believe in quality public education and I believe public education in Arizona—and in this countryis being underfunded and is in need of our support,” Polly said.

She continued, “I want to thank Judy Hart, who coordinates Community Outreach for the PebbleCreek Democratic Club, for helping me connect with a local public school science program so that local science students can put this microscope to good use for many years to come.”
