This year, members of PebbleCreek Community Church (PCCC) have enjoyed Pizza with the Pastor, an event initiated by the church’s Connections Committee. Once a month, a dozen newer members or church attendees have been invited to join Pastor Nate and Rocio Watkins for lunch at the Westwind Tavern. Two committee members act as hosts for the event by planning the menu and the use of the private dining room with the restaurant staff. This time of connection enables all to relax with conversation, enjoy a simple meal, describe their lives before PebbleCreek, and share what led them to choose our community church for worship.
The PCCC Connections Committee welcomes all to Sunday Worship through an active greeting process, works with the Pastor at quarterly new member orientations, updates the Church Directory, offers name badges to regular attendees, and sponsors activities like Pizza with the Pastor. PCCC encourages individual involvement by “faith in action” through participation in fellowship activities, serving on church Boards and committees while enjoying an active life in our community.
PebbleCreek Community Church is a non-denominational church that meets each Sunday at 9 a.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom.
