There’s been some confusion and/or misunderstanding on the part of some of our residents in making certain that all currently owned vehicles are being registered at the Resident and Guest Services desks at the Eagle’s Nest and Tuscany Falls Clubhouses when a change to vehicle ownership is made. There’s a misconception that an RFID tag issued to a previously owned vehicle can simply be transferred to the new vehicle without making the change known with the Resident and Guest Services staff. You’ll find an abbreviated version of Section 7 of the Rules and Regulations that addresses this issue. Please refer to your copy of Rules and Regulations for the complete set of rules. If you can’t locate your copy, the libraries at each clubhouse have a full set available for your reference or you can find them on the PCHOA website. Section 7 of the Rules reads:
Section 7: Vehicles, Traffic, Pedestrians and Parking
7.1 Purpose. All Residents and Non-residents are obligated to obey all Arizona State, City of Goodyear and PebbleCreek traffic, parking and vehicle laws, rules and regulations while in PebbleCreek. To maintain safe residential areas, the following Rules have been adopted for the protection and wellbeing of all PebbleCreek Residents and Non-residents. These Rules apply to all Vehicles.
7.2 Vehicle Registration, Entry Passes and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Tags
(a) Registration. All Vehicles maintained at PebbleCreek by a Resident must be registered with the Patrol. If a vehicle is owned by a company, the homeowner must provide a letter from the company stating the named homeowner is authorized to have use of the vehicle. Once registered, a PebbleCreek numbered registration sticker or RFID tag will be issued. The sticker must be placed where it will be visible on the lower left inside windshield on the driver’s side of the Vehicle, except, in the case of motorcycles and bicycles, stickers must be placed where they are readily visible. RFID tags may only be placed on the vehicle by authorized PebbleCreek personnel in a suitable location as to allow proper operation. An RFID tag may be transferred to a different vehicle upon registration with the HOA, payment of a Board determined fee, and verification of functionality. The Patrol will check for a visible numbered registration sticker.
As was previously mentioned, we’ve had a few homeowners that have either traded vehicles in or bought new ones and then simply transferred their old RFID sticker to the new auto without making the change known to the Resident and Guest Service staff. Your RFID tags are registered to a specific vehicle and license plate number. If your RFID does not work, it may have been deactivated by the computer system when identified by our security cameras, or patrol, because it wasn’t identified as the vehicle to which the RFID tag was originally issued. If for any reason your RFID tag is not working or fails to work properly in the future, please contact either of the front desks at the clubhouses for assistance. Thanks!

**When you leave town for a vacation or for the summer, leave a Vacation Watch Form with Community Services (Patrol). You can fill one out on our home page or pick up the form at the main gate houses. Make sure you leave a local emergency contact such as a neighbor or friend inside PebbleCreek. Make sure a number is listed to contact you. We will watch for water leaks or any obvious damage and notify you so you can make arrangements to have repairs done.
