On May 28, members of the Singles Club attended The Stir Crazy Comedy Club Show in the Westgate Entertainment District. Three different comedians provided the entertainment for the evening. Food and cocktails were available to purchase, and, while many laughs were shared, it was also a great way to relax and unwind.

Earlier in May, twelve members had an opportunity to volunteer at St. Mary’s Food Bank in Surprise, as their commitment to giving back to the community. Four hours were spent sorting and packing food items for the less fortunate. The PebbleCreek Singles Club has raised money for local charities and volunteered in numerous capacities over the past 22 years. Community service is a big part of their mission.

The club held a monthly membership meeting on June 6, which was the first for 2021. New members were greeted, welcomed, and introduced to fellow members. The board members served ice cream to all in attendance, celebrating the making of new friendships and the renewing of old ones. Effective Aug. 1, the club will be having regular monthly meetings on the first Sunday of every month in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Although it has been a long year with all the restrictions and limitations, activities continue to improve and are getting back to normal. Game nights, golf, and special events are on the calendar, along with a monthly happy hour which is being held at various area restaurants.
