City Council Candidates to Speak

Goodyear will hold a primary election on Aug. 4, 2026, for the office of Mayor and three city Council members. On March 10, two of the individuals running for a Council seat will be in PebbleCreek. Sheri Lauritano and Jason Kish will be at the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse Palm Room at 3 p.m. to speak and answer questions.

Sheri and her husband Stephen have raised their two children here in Goodyear. She has served three terms on the Goodyear City Council, and before that, was a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission. A primary focus of her time on Council was strengthening the core of our communitysupporting public safety with new fire stations, a modern police headquarters, and an upgraded 911 dispatch.

Jason has been a resident for 22 years built a family, a business, and his reputation in Goodyear. He served nine years on the Planning and Zoning Commission, four of them as Chairman. He promises to listen and lead with integrity.

Please come to the Palm Room on March 10 at 3 p.m. to hear Sheri and Jason’s visions for the City and to ask questions.
