On Friday, December 30, four couples gathered for their second annual Christmas dine-around. They started with wine and an array of delicious appetizers at Patti and David Moddermans; they then progressed to Jeanne Owens and Dave Baseheart’s new home for her hearty potato leek soup.
Priscilla and Bruce Sharp supplied the main course. Priscilla outdid herself with pork tenderloin, red cabbage, winter squash, green beans, scalloped potatoes and the most divine dinner rolls.
The evening continued to Cheri and Phil Amack’s for a light dessert, much needed after visiting the Sharp home! The evening ended after a heated girls against the boys Catch Phrase game which ended in a draw! All the homes were festive with beautiful decorations inside and out. What a wonderful evening celebrating Christmas with close friends.
