The cold windy weather did not deter Chanca Morrell from her round of golf on Feb. 2, when she scored her second hole-in-one at hole number 13 on Tuscany Falls East.
“The wind was blowing like crazy. I had my sock hat on to keep my hat from blowing off it was so windy,” Chanca said. “The flag was at 114 yards but I hit my 7 iron that’s my normal 125-130 yard club to account for the wind. I was just glad to get on the green and then it rolled right into the hole!”
She was playing with Carolyn Apodaca, Leslie Lowery, and Amber Rivera, who joined her at the Eagle’s Nest Restaurant and Bar to celebrate where it was warm with no wind. Congratulations Chanca!
