For the flourishing PebbleCreek Singles Club this has been a banner year. With membership rising to almost 200 and an average of four new members signing up monthly throughout 2015, a big party is being planned to recognize the success of this very special and unique organization.

According to Rosemary Vana, who is chairing the Celebrate 2015 gala on Sunday, December 13 at 5:00 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom, the evening’s program promises a poignant and at times comical pictorial walk down memory lane. Entertainment will be provided by talented performers from the PebbleCreek Community as well as the feisty, fun-filled Not Quite Ready For Primetime Singles Club Players. The always entertaining Melissa Kallett will serve as the evening’s master of ceremonies.

The last opportunity to sign up and pay for this special event will be at the club’s regular monthly meeting on Sunday, December 6 in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse. New member registration begins at 2:15 p.m., activities sign up starts at 2:30 p.m. and the business meeting will be called to order at 3:00 p.m.

Another very special reason for the PC Singles Club membership to celebrate is the recent decision by Judy Shaffer to stay on for a third term as the club’s president. Judy has done an outstanding job of spearheading the group’s ambitious agenda the past two years and will be moving forward to guide the slate of new officers who will take over at the January 2016 meeting. Incoming officers are Rhissa Pontrelli, vice president and membership director; Estelle Rundquist, secretary; Judy Ashley, treasurer; Sheldon Tencer, activities director and Shawnee Robison, publicity director.

At the December 6 meeting President Judy Shaffer will be announcing the results of this year’s Charitable Campaign in support of the Homeless Youth Connection (HYC) and the Luke AFB Fighter Country Foundation. There is still time to donate. Contributions are being accepted, by checks only, made out to the HYC and to the Fighter Country Foundation and can be sent to Treasurer Anita Asp at 3151 N 159th Drive or given to her at the December meeting.
