PebbleCreek Car Club membership continues to expand with car enthusiasts and their award winning vehicles. On March 25, the Cruis’n To The Lakes show sponsored by the Estrella Mountain Car Club was very well represented by the community. Receiving First Place awards in their respective categories were Jim Mitchell for his 1937 Chevy Coupe; Jan Shields for her 2015 Rousch Mustang and Arlene Girard, for her 1932 Ford Roadster. On April 1 there were approximately 250 cars entered in the Sun City Grand Car Show. Jim Mitchell received a First Place award in the Street Rods category with his 1937 Chevy Coupe. Then on April 8, a capacity crowd attended the fifth annual Spring Splash Car Show at Trinity Lutheran Church. Mike Girard entered his 1932 Ford Roadster and was awarded First Place for Best Street Rod. Members participated in the day long April 22 Cruisin’ at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. On May 13, the annual club picnic will be held at Sunrise Park for all members and guests. The next club meeting will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2017 in the Capri Room, Tuscany Falls.
