The Candy Cane Classic took place on Dec. 7, 2025, serving as PebbleCreek’s premier event in support of children’s charities. The tournament was completely sold out, with 168 women participating in a 1 p.m. shotgun start on the East Course. Comfort stations were set up throughout the course, and enthusiastic supporters were on hand to cheer on the golfers.
The event was organized by Jeanne Corn and her committee: Sheila Hooks, Teri Schoephoerster, Pam Spekman, Tina Fisher, and Robin Spekman. Together, they helped raise more than $11,000 for charitable causes.
The first-place team—Carey Early, Desiree Levy, Caryn Brett, and Barbara Miller—donated their $2,500 winnings to the charity Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Second-place winners Cathy Weaver, Kathi Curtis, Chanca Morrell, and Sharma Fleming contributed their $2,000 prize to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The 42nd place team—Nancy Williams, Jen Wright, Pam Kale, and Kathy Bergman—donated their $1,250 winnings to Autism Speaks.
