A fun party was held at the Sunrise Park on March 24 and was attended by over 120 friendly and polite PebbleCreek Canadians. A “Mix and Mingle” game started the fun with prizes awarded to the winning team, followed by live entertainment by Karen Peterson and Howard Brodbeck, singing songs by Canadian artists. Everyone joined in singing the first song, which was the Canadian version of “This Land Is Your Land.”
A huge variety of appetizers and salads were contributed by all attendees, and there were favorable choices for everyone. Red and white cupcakes decorated with a small Canadian flag on top were served for dessert.
It was a great opportunity to mingle, get to know other Canadians in our community, and discuss why PebbleCreek is such a good place to escape winter and snow.
Thank you to a great team of organizers and volunteers, as well as Karen and Howard adding to a wonderful evening. Thanks also to all the attendees who contributed food and helped make this a successful and enjoyable event. Until next year …
