On March 9, T.T.T. Chapter P members had an opportunity to meet our 2017 campers at our pizza party at Barbara B. Robey School. Pictured enjoying some time with two of our new campers are T.T.T. members Sandy Blackburn and Dianne Baczynski. Need I tell you that all of our campers are absolutely adorable?
The pizza party not only gives us a chance to meet them, but also they get their first taste of what being a T.T.T. camper will be like. Chapter members conduct informal interviews with the girls so we can learn more about them and we also help the parents fill out the required paperwork. As you can imagine, there is plenty of paperwork. The party is a fun event for all. Almost any event serving pizza and cookies is bound to be fun!
Now, camping season approaches. All the chapters will be very busy these next few months working for and with our campers. It is such a thrill to be able to pursue our T.T.T. mission of sending underprivileged fourth grade girls to accredited summer camps, thereby positively changing their lives and helping them grow into accomplished young women. Your wonderful support of our recent Butter Braid sale will enable Chapter P to send six deserving girls to camp this summer.
If you are a female PebbleCreek resident and would like to learn more about membership in T.T.T., please contact our Membership Chairman Cathi Hollis at 935-4856. It’s a wonderful organization doing important work.
