The Camera Club, open to all PebbleCreekers with an interest in photography, offers presentations on a variety of interesting topics and frequently sponsors club outings. On a rotating basis, the club also gets to display its handiwork in the Creative Arts Center windows. The March general meeting featured a presentation on HDR (high dynamic range) and focus stacking by Tom Klare, a well-published professor of photography at Mesa Community College. March also included an outing to practice photography of the jets prior to the Luke Air Show. Coming up at the general meeting in April is a presentation by Larry Matney on color management for monitors and printers. Larry, a resident of PebbleCreek, is a very accomplished landscape and wildlife photographer (and wood carver), as well as past vice president of the Camera Club. This is a good opportunity to learn to tune your devices so that printed images match what you see on your monitor. The April general meeting is in the Coyote Room (Tuscany Falls Creative Arts Center), April 20, 6:30 p.m. For additional information, visit the club website at https://pebblecreekcameraclub.com/ or contact the club president at [email protected].
