The Camera Club, open to all PebbleCreekers with an interest in photography, offers presentations on a variety of interesting topics and frequently sponsors club outings. On a rotating basis, the club also gets to display its handiwork in the Creative Arts Center windows and is a featured club for December and January, so stop by and take a look. Join the club and you may have the opportunity to display your work.
The January general meeting will feature a presentation on wildflower photography by widely published photographer, Colleen Miniuk, whose spectrum of credits includes National Geographic calendars and Arizona Highways. Considering the rain that we’ve had during the fall, this could be very timely for photographing spring wildflowers. Although club members have a wealth of experience, it is not just for expert photographers, and on Jan. 29, at 3 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls lobby, members will conduct a session, “Getting to Know Your Camera.” Note: the January general meeting will be in Eagle’s Nest Ballroom, Jan. 20, at 6:30 p.m. For additional information, contact the club president at [email protected].
