The Photo of the Month for March is an impressive view of Sandhill Cranes preparing for morning takeoff from a lake near Willcox, Ariz. The photo was taken by club member Gary Glascock on a recent club overnight trip to Willcox, childhood home of Rex Allen. The cranes migrate every year and one of their stops is a lake in Willcox, in addition to other stops in both New Mexico and Colorado. In the early morning, there will be thousands of cranes on the lake and the sight is quite amazing. Trips like this are now becoming part of the Camera Club’s activities; we encourage you to come to one of our meetings to discover the many activities we have.
