For February’s Photo of the Month, the Camera Club selected an impressive desert scene taken by club president Keith Cunningham while on a trip to Erg Chebbi dunes (Sahara Desert), Merzouga, Morocco. The photo demonstrates nice leading lines and draws the eye toward the camels on the distant sand dune. Keith and a friend had ridden those camels, and although a great adventure, do not recommend camels for comfortable transportation. One nice aspect of this outing was that Keith and friend were able to hike up the dunes at sunset, and the camels were trained to wait for their return.
