Each month the Camera Club selects a Photo of the Month and, for July, chose a striking combination of wildflowers by club vice president Lynn Warren from an April hike in the White Tanks Mountain Regional Park just west of PebbleCreek. Maybe not a true Super Bloom spring, but the White Tanks had some outstanding wildflowers because of abundant rainfall and somewhat moderate temperatures. Lynn’s photo caught a colorful combination of brittlebush, lupine, and hedgehog cactus with yellow globe chamomile visible on the slopes in the distant background.
