The Camera Club, open to all PebbleCreekers with an interest in photography, offers presentations on a variety of interesting topics and frequently sponsors club outings. On Oct. 23, several club members drove north to Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon to enjoy a relatively flat hike on the popular West Fork Trail which featured impressive fall colors.
At the November general meeting, the topic was Plant Photography and the featured presenter was Jimmy Fike, a nationally recognized photographer who has taught art at Wake Forest and Ohio Universities and is currently an Art Faculty Member at Estrella Mountain College; additional Nov. photographic events were: Photography is a Journey, Arizona Camera Club Council Fall Roundup (all-day event), and Building the Photo Ark, National Geographic Live, Mesa Arts Center, Joel Sartore, National Geographic Photographer.
The December general meeting is in the Coyote Room (Tuscany Falls Creative Arts Center), Dec. 16, at 6:30 p.m. For additional information, contact the club president at [email protected].
