The PebbleCreek Breast Cancer Discussion group will continue to meet the fourth Thursday of each month during the summer months. In lieu of typical meetings our group will meet for breakfasts. If you are affected in some way by breast cancer, please come to connect with us in this informal way. Our members have a wealth of knowledge and it’s a great way to share similar experiences. This is always a safe and confidential environment. We will meet in the alcove at the Eagle’s Nest Restaurant at 9 a.m. on June 26, July 24, and Aug. 28.
We will also continue discussions of planned fall activities and participation in a large-scale fundraising event at the end of October. We know it is important to remain active and available to whomever may need us, even though many in our community either travel or return to homes in cooler areas during the summer. Mark your calendars for those breakfast dates!
Please reach out if you or if another resident you know has pending surgery or treatments. A special gift is waiting! The PebbleCreek Sewing Club partners with us and lovingly sews pillows that we would like to give you. The pillows provide comfort following surgery or reconstruction.
