This team of 11 players has enjoyed playing the winter season each Friday morning (play ended March 17). We come to play and do our best, but we really come to enjoy the many friendships and the outdoor activity. Bocce is a competitive sport, but PebbleCreek Bocce is intended primarily to bring people together to have fun. Our Friday morning winter season had some sun, wind, clouds, and a few cold mornings where mufflers and gloves were appreciated. The Avengers enjoyed a successful season with our 11-member team of new and seasoned players. We enjoyed playing each of the other 13 teams on the roster and at the end of the season we were able to participate in choosing the charity that benefitted from our winners donation. We are looking forward to the short spring season running through May 12.
Taking the summer off, bocce league competition begins with the fall season, Sept. 19 through Nov. 10. The winter season runs Nov. 14 through March 9, and finishes up with the 2024 spring season, March 20 through May 9.
