Participants in the PebbleCreek Bocce Association’s Wednesday Morning League may have recognized that there is a local celebrity playing on the Court Jesters team. Congratulations to Carolyn Rota, who recently was named Citizen of the Year by the Goodyear Town Council in recognition of her volunteerism and support of various activities and events designed to recognize and honor our military veterans.
The Bocce Ball Winter Season runs from January 5 until March 11, 2016. League play is either on Tuesday night, Wednesday morning, Thursday night or Friday morning. Registration forms are located in the Bocce Slot at the Community Information Club Board across from the Eagle’s Nest Pro Shop.
Early Registration
Complete the Winter Registration form and mail or drop off the form and a check for $20 per person (if you are new this year) to Mollie McErlean, 16114 W. Fairmount Avenue, Goodyear, Arizona 85395-8045 no later than December 5, 2015.
Final Registration
Will be held at the Eagle’s Nest Kiosk on Monday, December 7 and Tuesday, December 8 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
Captains’ Meeting
Will be held Monday, January 4, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom.
Annual Meeting/Pot Luck
Election of new officers will take place on Sunday, January 10 at the Annual Meeting/Pot Luck gathering, scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom.
