On April 12, four of us from the Bocce Club Board went to City of Hope to present them with a donation of $1,000 from the Bocce Club. It is such a wonderful nonprofit cancer center, and such nice people work and volunteer there (many from PebbleCreek), and, unfortunately, many PebbleCreek residents get their cancer treatments here.
Now that it’s changed from Cancer Treatment Centers of America to City of Hope, it’s a nonprofit and doing so many great things for their No. 1 priority: their patients.
They can use donations for knitted hats that can be given to patients. If you are interested in helping out with this, contact me and I will get you in touch with the correct person.

Below are the Fall, Winter, and Spring Seasons (2024-25) registration and start dates. Make sure you have your teams ready to go by August 10 for the upcoming Fall season.
Dates and Times for 2024/25 Seasons
Fall
* Registration : Aug. 10 to Aug. 24
* Season start date: Sept. 16, goes until Nov. 8 (8 weeks)
* League days and times: Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 a.m.
Winter
* Registration: Oct. 12 to Oct. 26
* Season start date: Nov. 11, goes until March 14 (15 weeks)
* League days and times: Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.; Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 a.m.; Wednesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Spring
* Registration: Feb. 22 to March 8
* Season start date: March 24, goes until May 16 (8 weeks)
* League days and times: Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 a.m.
Dues for 2024/25 seasons will be $5 per person/per every season and league you play in.
