The PC Bocce club has seen a significant increase in its membership. In the fall season the demand for evening play was so great that we added a Wednesday night league. We had already planned on a Tuesday afternoon league for the winter season.
Registration completed at the end of October and we had a 25% increase in the number of teams and players. We went from 64 teams last winter to 80 this winter, and from 670 players to 857 players.
The following is information for the PC Bocce 2023-24 season play. The exact dates for the winter and spring registration can be found on the PC Bocce QuickScores home page at www.QuickScores.com/PebbleCreekbocce.
Dates and Times for 2023/24 Seasons
Winter
* Season started Nov. 14 and goes until March 8 (15 weeks)
* League days and times: Tuesday at 1 p.m. (new); Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.; Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. (new); Thursday at 6:30 p.m.; Friday at 9:30 a.m.
Spring
* Registration begins Feb. 1 (estimated)
* Season start date is March 26 and the season goes until May 17 (8 weeks)
* League days and times: Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 a.m.
Dues for the 2023-24 seasons will be $5 per person per every season and league, day or night, that you play in.
Important FYI: The bocce courts by the Eagle’s Nest pool are not open to the public during any regularly scheduled club times. Regular times for winter are:
Tuesdays from noon to 9 p.m.
Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to noon and from 5 to 9 p.m.
Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m.
Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon
You can reserve a court by choosing an available time and court in the reservation book found in the Sports Building.
