Our Spring season will start March 26 and go through May 17.
Friday night Training/Open Play sessions. The courts will be open on Friday nights through March 8. Times will be 6 to 7 p.m. for Training new people and 7 to 8 p.m. for anyone who wants to participate in Open Play. Please note the time change, with the courts closing at 8 p.m.
Reminder: The bocce picnic will be held on Saturday, March 16, at Sunrise Park. Food will be served between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Food will again this year be provided by the Fire Up Freedom Fire Truck. Captains will have more info soon as to getting food orders for all of their interested players.
Save the Date: Captain’s Meeting will be held on March 18 at 9 a.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom.
Lastly, President Bose sent out emails looking for volunteers to be on the nominating committee. The committee will be responsible to receive and screen all nominations for board members. These positions are up for election in March: President (2-year term), Vice President (1-year completion of term for open position), Secretary (2-year term), Treasurer (2-year term), and Statistician (2-year term).
