Blessed to Be Back in Business

Larry Sessoms

It was with the greatest joy that on June 6, PebbleCreek Community Church (PCCC) returned to the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom for our traditional worship service. Thank you, PebbleCreek Homeowners Association, for all you have done this past year to assist in protecting our residents! Now, as we continue to exercise appropriate caution, we are excited to be back in business, corporately proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ. On that first Sunday of the month of June, we celebrated with Communion, song, festive fellowship, and abundant appreciation. As always, our community church is open to everyone, so please feel free to attend any Sunday at 9 a.m.

Readers will recall that during COVID restrictions, the campus church, in compliance with our HOA, was not able to meet in person. The Eagle’s Nest Ballroom, as were all on-campus meeting rooms and facilities, was off-limits. However, the work of the church never took a break.

During the pandemic, PCCC was privileged to donate eight new benches, which have now been installed along community walking paths and sidewalks. Additionally, in partnership with the HOA, the church donated two ceiling mounted LCD laser projectors and two 184 inch projection screens, motorized and wall mounted, on either side of the Eagle’s Nest stage. We know this improvement gift to PebbleCreek’s Eagle’s Nest Ballroom will enhance our worship services, as well as all functions the entire community may hold using this venue.

For the past year, we have continued to meet via the church website, www.churchpcc.org.

Fortunately, our congregation is blessed with talented volunteers who utilized their technical skills so our weekly services could continue online. But frankly, it was not the same. Although we discovered through these virtual services that PCCC attracts visitors from all over the country and, to some extent, around the world, our immediate mission is to serve you, our friends and neighbors residing in PebbleCreek. Thanks for your past support. Now, let us worship together again!
