Billiards Club Visits and Outshines Trilogy Again

Dan Harris, travel team coordinator

On Nov. 18, 2025, members of the PebbleCreek Billiards Club (PCBC) traveled to the Kiva Club in Vistancia, Peoria, Ariz., for a friendly inter-club competition against the Trilogy Billiards Club. Seven players from PebbleCreek and eight from Trilogy competed on three 9-foot Brunswick tables equipped with a fast cloth, which rewarded accurate shot-making and positional play. And Trilogy was eager to avenge last month’s loss to PCBC.

The format consisted of three team matches, all doubles, played with rotating pairings:

* Traditional 8-ball (race to 8): PCBC won 8–5. Bill Frustaglia of PCBC delivered the standout performance of the match by winning a game with a break-and-run.

* Trilogy’s “1-15” 8-ball variation (the 1 and 15 balls are racked behind the 8 ball and must be pocketed in opposite side pockets; race to 8): Trilogy prevailed 8–6, repeating their result from the clubs’ October contest.

* Traditional 10-ball (race to 10): PCBC took the match 10–6.

Of the 43 individual games played, PCBC finished with 24 wins to Trilogy’s 19, securing the overall victory.

Players from both clubs praised the hospitable atmosphere and excellent table conditions provided by the Kiva Club. The groups expressed enthusiasm for continuing the rivalry, with the next meeting scheduled for December.
