Normal Billiard Club tournament play was shut down during the month-long renovation project at Tuscany Falls but, thanks to Frank Jugo, a generous friend of the Billiard Club, the 8- and 9-Ball Tournaments were moved just a short distance away to Frank’s Game Room.
The 8-Ball Tournaments had the following winners. For July 19, Bob Macy was the winner, with Lenny Burres and Clay Beeson tied for 2nd. For July 26, Bob Macy was the winner, with Clay Beeson second, and Lynn Warren third. For Aug. 2, Bob Macy was the winner, with Lynn Warren and Al Vence tied for 2nd. For Aug. 9, Lynn Warren was the winner, Frank Jugo was 2nd, and Al Vence was 3rd. For Aug. 16, Lynn Warren was the winner, with Al Vence 2nd, and Frank Jugo 3rd.
The 9-Ball Tournaments had the following winners. For July 22, Lenny Burres was the winner, with Bob Macy 2nd, and Butch Schoen, Clay Beeson, and Ken Copps tied for 3rd. For July 29, Clay Beeson was the winner, with Bob Macy 2nd, and Ken Copps and Frank Jugo tied for 3rd. For Aug. 5, Ken Copps was the winner, with Al Vence 2nd, and Frank Jugo 3rd. For Aug. 12, Ken Copps was the winner, with Clay Beeson and Al Vence tied for 2nd. For Aug. 19, Frank Jugo was the winner, with Butch Schoen in 2nd, and Clay Beeson in 3rd.
