The Glass Arts Club recently hosted a fun group of PebbleCreek residents who were excited to learn the art of fusing glass. The Beginner Fused Glass Class, led by Dee Costard with assistance from Sandy Rivera, Nancy Turner, and Pam Baldwin, is a welcoming opportunity for newcomers to explore glass art. This engaging session spans two days and covers fundamental techniques in glass fusing. All necessary materials are provided, and participants complete a unique project, each becoming a beautiful item for everyday use or display. One participant shared, “I never imagined I could create something so beautiful—this class was truly inspiring!” The sense of accomplishment and camaraderie made the experience memorable for everyone involved.
The next Beginner Fused Glass Class will take place this summer and is open to any PebbleCreek resident who has not previously taken the class. Announcements will be posted on the PebbleCreek Post, Facebook page, and egroup, two to three weeks before the class, allowing time for signups and a lottery drawing if needed. Don’t miss your chance to join this creative community and discover the joy of glass art!
Please visit the Creative Arts Center to see the remarkable artwork from the glass studio and other clubs. It’s inspiring to witness the talent of your neighbors expressed in many mediums, including wood, painting, pencil, ceramics, pottery, and fiber arts. Come celebrate creativity and connect with fellow art enthusiasts!
