The fall ballroom dance season begins on Friday, September 16 with a casual dance, See You in September, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom. Music will be provided by professional ballroom dance instructor, Jason Wong, of Flux Dance Studios. All PebbleCreek residents are welcome. Suggested attire is casual. Tickets are $10 for Ballroom Dance Club members and $15 for non-members. Tickets will be available at the Eagle’s Nest Kiosk from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, August 30 and September 6 and 13; Wednesday, August 31 at Karaoke from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. and on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to noon on September 1 and 8.
Also mark your calendar for our Big Band Dinner Dance on Saturday, October 15. This is one of the few chances you’ll have to dance to a live Big Band orchestra right here in PebbleCreek. So whether you’re a dancer or just want to come to enjoy dinner and great live music, plan on joining us; details to follow in the next PebbleCreek Post.
The Ballroom Dance Club ends our 2016 season with the annual Mistletoe Ball on Friday, November 11. Live entertainment will be provided by the Thaddeus Rose Band. Enjoy a sumptuous surf and turf dinner, dance or just enjoy the music. The Mistletoe Ball is a popular event in PebbleCreek and always sells out, so look for future announcements in the PebbleCreek Post.
Volunteers are needed to fill our 2017 Board of Directors. If you are interested in assisting the club as president, vice-president, treasurer, or secretary, please let us know. Prior experience is not necessary. Candidates will be announced by email and at the October dance followed by an email election. New board members will be announced in November.
