Susan Skolnik

The PebbleCreek Art club Show and Sale, held on Nov. 5 in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom, was once again one of the highlights of the fall events at PebbleCreek. Over 800 guests attended to see the works of 55 talented artists and $10,000 of art was sold.

Complimentary wine was available and the Happy Hour band played soft jazz and rock to accompany the guests as they strolled through the gallery-like display that was set up by the Art Show committee.

Jane Meyers wrote, “Thank you for an amazing art show, Sylvia. You and your amazing committee of dedicated, exceptional, hardworking members of the Art Club put on a spectacular event. Your Herculean efforts hit every benchmark.” There were many accolades, and the club appreciates all the kind and supportive comments about this year’s show.

There are classes for all skill levels, open studio workshop opportunities, outings, luncheons, and get-togethers available throughout the year. We welcome anyone who wants to further their artistic talents, meet a great bunch of people, or try something new and exciting. The club meets in the Coyote Room on the fourth Friday of each month at 10 a.m. A holiday luncheon is planned for Dec. 16 for all members, which will take the place of our December meeting.
