A fledgling birding group has started meeting in PebbleCreek and will be taking short trips to nearby bird watching areas. Our December gathering was at Polly Wimberly and Kirk Brown’s home, where we birded from their patio. We saw and identified several common local birds including Anna’s and Costa’s Hummingbirds, Gambel’s Quail, Eurasian Collared Doves, and Curve-billed Thrashers.
