Architectural and Landscaping Committee Maintaining a Premier Community

Rick Watson, ALC Manager

To ensure the ongoing visual character of PebbleCreek remains consistent and harmonious with the overall plan of the community, while allowing individual expression in landscaping and decorations, all residents are responsible for reading and understanding the most recent Architectural and Landscaping Committee (ALC) Guidelines.

The Architectural and Landscape Committee is comprised of PebbleCreek volunteer members who review and approve permit plans based on the ALC guidelines.

Any change to the external view of the property from the skin of the house to the property line must be approved by the ALC prior to the change.

Examples of changes to property include (but are not limited to) the following that require a permit:

* House or fencing color, including repainting with the same color

* Plants, trees, bushes, grading, rock/granite, artificial turf

* Pavers, driveway coatings

* Yard art, decorative items, fountains, wall art, pots

* Awnings, privacy panels, patio covers, sun shades, and bird deterrents

* Outdoor fireplaces, barbeques, solar panels, and sheds

* Painting exterior of home, garage doors, or fences whether painting the current color or changing the color (Robson approved colors only)

Helpful tips to remember:

* Snowbirds are responsible for maintaining their property while they are away.

* Rental properties—it is homeowner’s responsibility to ensure renters are aware of and abide by the ALC guidelines and the CC&Rs.

* Nothing can be placed on top of mailboxes except during the holiday season.

* No artificial flowers in ‘public view.’

* Garden hoses are to be in hose pot or hose reel-not attached to house or hanging on pipes.

* No furniture on rocks/granite. Must be on solid surface such as pavers or concrete.

* Leaves and bird droppings may not be allowed to gather on homeowner’s property.

* Hummingbird feeders are allowed—no other wildlife can be fed or raised outside of the house.

* Solar panels mounted on risers higher than 18 inches require the risers and electrical wires to be hidden from view.

* Any decorative items placed in front yard cannot have words on it (examples: garden flags, pots, and quaint signs).

* All palm trees must be trimmed by Aug. 15 each year.

Important homeowner responsibility:

All yards must be regularly maintained, at least quarterly, even when away from the house for a period of time. The landscaping must have a minimum of seven plants and one tree, per the 1,000 square feet of softscape.
