The Litchfield Park Branch Library invites you to attend our wonderful selection of programs in April! Peter Longo, former PGA Tour member, will be our guest on Thursday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. to present a fun filled hour of golf demonstrations as you have never seen it before. Enjoy the legends of the desert as Anne McDermott presents Desert Fables, Saturday, April 8 at 1:00 p.m. Military Historian Herb Zinn will provide insight into World War II in his program World War II in an Abridged Nutshell on Friday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m. Enjoy a film followed by discussion as we offer a viewing of Not for Ourselves Alone: the story of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Olga Tsoudis, Faculty, Estrella Mountain Community College. The film is shown in two parts: Thursday, April 20, 11:00 a.m. and Thursday, April 27, 11:00 a.m. Jeff Alderman presents Art of the Miniature on April 25 at 6:00 p.m. Jeff has been featured in numerous articles (including the cover) published in The West Valley View, The Arizona Republic, The Phoenix Gazette, The Titanic Commutator, as well as television segments appearing on KPNX-TV 12 in Phoenix and ESPN Sports Network.
